Raymond R. Moss (Ray)

Raymond R. Moss (Ray), age 77, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014.


A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 7:00 pm Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. The Reverend Richard Evans will officiate. The family will receive friends at 6:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Raymond was born on October 18, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio. He lived many years in Duluth, GA and currently lived in Hall County. Ray was a graduate of North Augusta Sr. high School in Augusta, SC. Ray was a brilliant and accomplished real estate Broker, commercial land developer, as well as a certified property manager. He loved life and traveled the world.

Ray was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Moss and mother, Mae Alice (Wright) Moss.

Ray is survived by his five daughters, Karen Andersen, Leslie Graves, Patricia Walker; son-in-law, Brad Walker; Kellie Moss; son-in-law, David White; and Alyssa Moss.

Also, numerous grandchildren as follows, Jacquelyn Andersen, Whittney Walker, Sean Southorn, Raymond Taylor Graves, Katelyn Walker, Megan Graves, Becky Jo Walker, Savannah Lindsay, Summer Lindsay.

Ray also had two great-grandchildren, Justin Ray Rzemieniewski and Kylee Smith.

He is also survived by his sister, Marcia Presley, nephew, Wynon Croker and brother-in-law, Ronald Presley.


We will miss him and look forward to God's promises of all of us being together again in heaven. See you at the end of the yellow brick road!
