Linda Carol Gibbs Forrester

Mrs. Linda Carol Gibbs Forrester age 67 of Gainesville passed away on Wednesday May 07, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday May 10, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Pierce Ashmore will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday May 09, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Forrester was born on March 11, 1947 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Buster Gibbs and Rilla Heaton Gibbs England. She was retired from Gold Kist Research Farm and was a member of Faith Tabernacle. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Harold Gibbs, Larry Gibbs, Donnie Gibbs, sister-in-law, Anita McCrary, brothers-in-law, Larry McCrary, W.T. Forrester.

She is survived by her husband, Rudy Forrester of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Keith Waters of Talmo, daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and George Pile of Gainesville, daughter, Bonita Smith of Gainesville, son, Craig Forrester of Punta Gorda, FL, son, Jason Forrester of Gainesville, grandsons, Joshua Waters, Tanner Evans, grand-daughters, Lindsey Waters, Tabitha Kimbrell, Bailey Evans, Bralyn Young, great-grandchild, Audrey Ponce, sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Morris Martin of Gainesville, sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Joe Smith of Murrayville, sister-in-law, Karen Gibbs of Ellijay, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gilbert and Ellen Forrester of Cleveland, sister-in-law, Margie Forrester of Oakwood.
