Frances Timberlake Crosby

Frances Timberlake Crosby, age 86, of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014.




Mrs. Crosby was born on March 4, 1928 in Florence, Alabama; daughter of the late Lewis Timberlake and Gertrude Timberlake O'Steen. She was also preceded in death by her husband Rev. Oscar David Crosby; he was a retired Minister from Clarkesville First United Methodist Church and was a member of North Georgia Methodist Conference. Mrs. Crosby was a loving, dedicated, and loyal minister's wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.




Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Catherine Crosby Pierce and Paul A. Pierce, sisters-in-law, Martha "Tittoo" Timberlake, Betty Crosby; brother, Lewis Timberlake; granddaughter, Courtney Elizabeth Pierce and numerous nieces and nephews.




Graveside services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2014, at Yonah Memorial Gardens, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. James Turpen, Sr. and Rev. Brian Butler officiating.




The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until 3:45 p.m., at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest Georgia on Sunday, May 18, 2014.
