​Mrs. Mary Ann Nix West, 76 of Gainesville died Monday May 19, 2014 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
A lifelong resident of Gainesville, Mrs. West was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Hortense Anderson Nix. A graduate of Gainesville High School, Mrs. West was retired from the Citizens Bank of Gainesville where she had worked for many years. Mrs. West was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church on Washington Street.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Savanna West, daughter and son-in-law, Kelley and Sheldon Foote, all of Gainesville; grandchildren, Blake and Sadie Foote, Austin and Cheyenne West, Daniel, Nicholas and Benjamin Cloud; 4 great grandsons, two nieces, Kathy Head and Jackie Hefner, 3 great nephews, 2 great nieces and 7 great great nephews and nieces also survive.
Mrs. West is preceded in death by her husband, Victor Herbert West.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday May 22, 2014 at the Alta Vista Cemetery. Doug Cochran will officiate. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Wednesday May 21, 2014 from 6-8 p.m.
