Barbara Barnes Logan

Barbara Barnes Logan, age 76 of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Bradley Elliott will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 7 - 9 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 12:00 pm at Memory Hill Gardens, 2200 Skyland Blvd. E, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405.

Mrs. Logan was born December 16, 1937 in Blanch, Alabama to the late Flavle Olemthius Barnes and Nota Pugh Barnes. She was retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center as a Registered Nurse and was a member of Air Line Baptist Church. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Logan is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Donna (Meggs) & Rusty Williams of Gainesville, son & daughter-in-law, Danny & Carol Meggs of Northport, Alabama, grandchildren, Emily Hopper, Brian Meggs, Christy & Jason Arrowood, Betsy & Matt Waters, Wesley Meggs, Sarah Grace Meggs, Amy Brown and Derrick Brown, 5 great-grandchildren and sister, Martha Barnes Dodd of Gainesville.
