Cullie M. Adkins Minish

Cullie M. Adkins Minish, age 89 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at New Horizons Limestone following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 and Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 5 - 9 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Minish was born August 4, 1924 in Jefferson, Georgia to the late Edd Davis and Cora Gee Davis. She was retired from Mar-Jac Poultry and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in White County. Cullie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cliff Logan Adkins, her daughters-in-law, Betty Ruth Adkins and Lindy Grace Adkins, sisters, Virginia Kent and Laureline Black and her brothers, Ed Howard Davis, Phil Davis, Jr. and Paul Davis.

Mrs. Minish is survived by her sons, Billy Ray Adkins of Homer and Edward Lee Adkins, Sr. of Gainesville and one grandson, Edward Lee Adkins, Jr. of Gainesville.
