Truman Fred Masinter

Mr. Truman Fred Masinter, age 69, of Commerce, GA died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital. Mr. Masinter was born in Hollywood, CA to the late Fred and Evelyn Masinter. He was a member of Webbs Creek Baptist Church and was a retired mechanic.

Mr. Masinter is survived by his wife, Velma Maxine Worley Masinter of Commerce; sons, Frankie Morgan (Robin) of Acton, CA, Freddie Masinter of Detroit, MI, Randy Beal (Carol) of Homer, GA, and Rod Beal of CA; honorary step-son, Andrew Wiley of Commerce; brothers, Dennis Karl of AZ; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Friday, June 6 at Webbs Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Payne and Rev. Stacey Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 6 to 8 PM.
