Dorothy Annette Renner

Dorothy Annette Renner, age 91 of Georgia, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Avalon Home Care in Texas following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 1 - 3 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.


Mrs. Renner was born October 10, 1922 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late William Richardson and Dolly Cason Richardson. She was a homemaker and of the non-denominational faith. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mehl B. Renner and her sister, Louise Rainwater.


Mrs. Renner is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Elaine & John George of Plano, Texas, Janet & Max Kirkland of St. Mary, Georgia, son, Mehl W. Renner of Charlotte, North Carolina, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
