Stephanie Lee Maroney

Stephanie Lee Maroney, age 57 of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.


A memorial service will be held at a later date.


Ms. Maroney was born November 12, 1956 in East Liverpool, Ohio to Thomas Brown and the late Shirley Shinton Brown. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. Ms. Maroney was preceded in death by her mother; her husband, Keith Maroney; son, Mikey Board; grandparents, Dorothy and Thomas Shinton; Margaret and Robert Brown.

Ms. Maroney is survived by her daughter, Amiee Board of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Brandon Carver of Flowery Branch; father, Thomas Brown of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Butch Davis of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Mickey and Tim Davenport of Cumming; nephew and niece, Tyler and Caylin Davenport; niece, Elizabeth Davis; grandchildren, Thomas Board, Alexis Grant, Kristofer and Bailey Carver and Harmony Carver; great-grandson Jett Purdue; uncle and aunt, Bill and Eva Jean Shinton of East Liverpool, Ohio; cousins, Vicky Bowers and Bill Shinton both of East Liverpool, Ohio; aunt, Delores Humphrey; cousins, Peggy, Bonnie, Fern, Sharyn and Ruth Ann
