Mr. Martin E. Pittman, age 40, of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at his residence following a sudden illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Scott Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Pittman was born on April 17, 1974 in Gainesville, Georgia to Winston F. Pittman and Peggy Martin Payne. He was self-employed and was preceded in death by his grandparents, E.B. & Dorothy Martin, Jewell Pittman and uncle, Bryan Martin.
Mr. Pittman is survived by his wife, Wahida Pittman of Gainesville, sons, Martin Omar and T.J. Pittman of Gainesville, father and his wife, Winston F. and Joyce Pittman of Lilburn, mother and her husband, Peggy and Ray Payne of Cleveland, grandmother, Mary H. Pittman of Gainesville, brothers and their wives, Winston Jr. and Donna Pittman of Doraville and Craig A. and Lauren Pittman of Atlanta, step-sister and husband, Wendy and Richard Sargent of Flowery Branch, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Latifa and Said Sayed. As well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and loving friends.
