Elizabeth Waters Richardson

Elizabeth Waters Richardson, 80, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away at her home following an extended battle with cancer.



Celebration of Life service will be held 5:30 pm Friday, June 27, 2014 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. Chris Britt will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until the service hour at the funeral home.



Ms. Richardson was born in Gainesville, Georgia on April 29, 1934, the daughter of the late Paul D. Waters and Beulah (Hulsey) Waters.



She was a graduate of Riverbend High School Class of '51. She volunteered with the Red Cross and was an avid volunteer for many years at Northeast Georgia Medical center. She was also a caregiver to many elderly patients over the years.



We are especially grateful to Hospice of Northeast Georgia and her caregivers.



Elizabeth is survived by her only daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Greg Syfan; grandchildren, Courtney and Zach Allgood, Jillian and Sean Moore and Keller Syfan. One great-granddaughter, Brecklynn Allgood; brother and sister-in-law, Murphy and Carolyn Waters; nieces, Pam and Gary Smith, Sheri and Louie Griffin.
