Wake Leon Davidson

Wake Leon Davidson, age 74, of Alto, Georgia, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 4, 2014 at the residence.

Mr. Davidson was born on May 18, 1940 in Alto, Georgia to the late Earl and Ethel Wade Davidson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Janese Hubbard Davidson; sisters, Rosetta Jesse, Dora Lee Davidson; brother, Talmadge Davidson. Mr. Davidson was affiliated with the Refuge Worship Center. He was retired from Fieldale Farms with thirty eight years of loyal and dedicated service.

Survivors include mother of his children, Jean Franklin, Alto, GA; daughters and sons in law, Martha and Michael Ivester, Alto, GA, Toni and Eddie Church, Alto, GA; son and daughter in law, Randall and Denise Davidson, Baldwin, GA, sisters, Lorena Alexander, Alto, GA, Lucille Baugh, Lula, GA, Geneva Loggins, Baldwin, GA; brother, Loyd Davidson, Lula, GA; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., on Monday, July 7, 2014, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Stacey Miller and Rev. Terry Benfield officiating. Interment will follow in the Wade Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2014.
