Willard D. Kanady

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in the chapel of Wards Funeral Home for Willard Dean Kanady, 62, of Gainesville. Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday and Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Kanady passed away Saturday July 4, 2014.
Mr. Kanady was born in Hall County and was employed for several years with L & K Resturant. Mr. Kanady was preceded in death by his father, Perry Kanady.
Survivors include daughter and son in law, Tracy and Glenn Darnell, Clayton; mother, Florine Smallwood Turpin, Gainesville; brothers, Ray Chastaine, Gainesville and Mikel Turpin, Clayton; sisters, Irene Puckett, Cumming and Lounell Grizzle, Alto; grandchildren, Mason Darnell, Cody Weathers and Jordan Darnell; several nieces and nephews.
