Robert Lee Myers

Robert Lee Myers, age, 74 of Gillsville passed away on July 5, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with entombment to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Jerry Gill and Dr. Tom Smiley will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Myers was born on April 23, 1940 in Dyess, Arkansas to the late Harry Myers Sr. and Gladys Dunlap Myers. He was a retired general contractor and attended Lakewood Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Loren Myers, and Richard Myers; sister, Viola Boswell.

Mr. Myers is survived by his wife, Nancy Myers of Gillsville, Georgia; daughters and sons-in-law Kathy (Cindy) and Tim Taylor of Dexter Missouri, Pam and Rick Tucker of Gainesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark & Jinny Myers of Greenville, Tennessee, Jason and Kim Myers of Demorest, Georgia; grandchildren, Dustin Treadwell, Emily Treadwell Boyle, Mary Kathryn Saliba, Layne Saliba, Chloe Myers, and Tatum Myers; sisters, Clara Moody, Iola Smith, Faye Hill, Norma Hicks; brothers; Harry Myers, Jr., and Ronnie Myers.
