Virginia Charlene Head

Virginia Charlene Head, age 72, of Greensboro, Georgia died Friday, July 11, 2014 following an extended illness.

Virginia was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and had lived the past 23 years in Greensboro, Georgia. She was a homemaker and she was a member of Evangel Temple in Rex, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents Felton Walter Bullock and Lelia Clara Burrell.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Richard Head; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Cheryl Head, Ellenwood, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Jeff Jones, Talking Rock, GA; brother, Richard Bullock, Newnan, GA; brother and sister-in-law, James and Wylene Bullock, Barnesville, GA; grandchildren, Bobby Jones, Amanda Brooks, David Head, Colton Jones and Camden Jones. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Virginia Charlene Head are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Concord Baptist Church, Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

Interment will follow in Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on
Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 5 PM until 9 PM and Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 9 AM until 1:30 PM.
