Claudia R. Royal

Claudia R. Royal, age 93, of Duluth, GA passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Clement E. Royal.

She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne R. Sanders, Duluth, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Everett and Jane Royal, Madison, GA and Roddy and Susan Royal, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Kristi Anthony, Scott Royal, Sandi Bryant, Shelly Wilson, Jessica Royal, Steven Sanders, Ansley Christain, and Jeffrey Royal; and eight great grandchildren, Tiffany Anthony, Hailey Pauley, Taylor Pauley, Alex Anthony, Sidney Royal, Annie Grace Royal, Davon Bryant, Jr. and Spencer Wilson.

Mrs. Royal was born September 22, 1920 in Rome, GA. She was a 1938 graduate of Girls High School of Atlanta. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Stonehedge Garden Club of Buford and a member of Buford Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Sondra R. Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
