Anne Sewell Ogle

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday July 15, 2014 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Anne Sewell Ogle, age 90, of Talmo. The Rev. Raymond Latty and Rev. Mark Spence will officiate. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Ogle passed away Sunday July 13, 2014 at her residence.

Mrs. Ogle, or Aunt Anne as many knew her, was born July 19, 1923 to the late Vera M. and Oscar Sewell in Helen, Georgia. She lived most of her life in Talmo, Georgia. She was a graduate of Gainesville High School. She was a long time member of Talmo Baptist Church, serving in various positions for a number of years. She worked as a bookkeeper before retiring from Lockheed Martin and moving with husband, John, to their farm in Talmo. They operated a working poultry farm for a number of years after that.
Mrs. Ogle is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John L. Ogle, and their infant son, John Leonard Ogle Jr., as well as her parents and sisters, Colleen Jarrard and Frances Burnett.

She is survived by special nieces, Jan Murphy and Patsy Hulsey and their families as well as a large number of other nieces, nephews and their children.
