Cleate Mae Roberts

Cleate Mae Roberts, 81, of Oakwood passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.


Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with internment to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Scott and Dawn McQueen will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Ms. Roberts was born on November 14, 1932 in Dahlonega, Georgia to the late Daniel Rider and Bertha Sanford Rider. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers. Ms. Roberts was a homemaker and a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church.

Ms. Roberts is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Theresa Roberts of Oakwood, Jerry and Paula Roberts of Oakwood, Tommy and Cheryl Roberts of Gainesville. Grandchildren; Cricket Ledford, April Turner, Sunshine Thomas, Amy Holbrook, Jerri Fowler, Cindy Morris, Christina Roberts. She has 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, she was also survived by 4 sisters, and 4 brothers.
