Michael 'Mike' Smith

Michael "Mike" Smith, age 57, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014. He is survived by his wife Kimberly Smith; children James Kenneth Smith, Sandy Springs, GA, William Mathew Smith, Duluth, GA and Shawn Kathryn Smith, Sugar Hill, GA; sisters and brother-in-law Cathy Smith, Toccoa, GA, Judy and Terry Wilde, Toccoa, GA, and Vicki Jones, Tupelo, MS; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Smith was born November 29, 1956 in DeKalb County. He was a 1975 graduate of Henderson High School and he was employed for over ten years with Gwinnett County Public Schools as a bus driver. Mike was an avid golfer and outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting. He adored his family and never met a stranger. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2014 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Ramey officiating.
