John Alexander Lonholm

John Alexander Lonholm, age 65, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Monday, July 21, 2014 at Northeast GA Medical Center.

John was born and raised in Philadelphia, spent 20 years in Gwinnett County, and the past 6 years in Lumpkin County. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, and retired from Hewlett Packard, where he worked as Project Manager. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Lonholm is preceded in death by his son, Brian John Lonholm.

He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 42 years, Joyce Lonholm; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Chance Lewis, Brookhaven, GA; sister, Caryl Haynes, Houston, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Jim Grant, California; grandchildren, Micah Brian Lonholm, Caleb John Lonholm, Liam Michael O'Brien, Meghan Grace O'Brien, and Justin Mitchell Lewis.

A Celebration of Life will be held for John at 11 AM Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.
