Evelyn Carolyn Ryals Guffey

Evelyn Carolyn Ryals Guffey, 70, of Gainesville passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, July 28, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park with internment to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 28, 2014 from 11-2 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Guffey was born on November 28, 1943 in Jackson, Mississippi to Evelyn Ryals and the late Orville James Ryals. She was a homemaker and was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Mrs. Guffey is survived by her husband, Charles R. Guffey of Gainesville; son, Rusty Guffey of Gainesville; mother, Evelyn Ryals; granddaughter, Ella Guffey; 4 brothers, and 1 sister.
