Shawndala Marie Wood

Shawndala Marie Wood, age 35 of Gainesville, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014 in Dawsonville, Georgia following a brief illness.


Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, August 1, 2014 at 5:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Mike Rearden will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 3 - 5 pm, prior to the service at the funeral home.


Ms. Wood was born February 1, 1979 in Winter Haven, Florida to John Robert Wood, Sr. and DeAnn Handegard Wood Dumit. She was a Cosmetologist and was of the non-denominational faith.


Ms. Wood is survived by her parents, Charles & DeAnn Dumit of Gainesville, her sons, Aiden Wood and Carson Kent, both of Gainesville, brother & sister-in-law, John & Carolina Wood, Jr. of Braselton, Georgia, brothers, Matthew Wood and Charlie Dumit, both of Gainesville, sister & brother-in-law, Laura & John Crisco of Easley, South Carolina, sisters, Alisha Dumit of Easley, South Carolina and Christi Dumit of Greenville, South Carolina and numerous nieces & nephews.



Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
