Marian Hinson Caudell

MARIAN HINSON CAUDELL, age 76 of Baldwin, Georgia passed to the Lord on Monday, August 05, 2014.

Born in Fair Bluff, North Carolina on November 09, 1937, the sixth of nine children, Marian was a daughter of the late Alva Curtis and Cleora Morris Hinson. She married Mack B. Caudell of Baldwin, Georgia in January of 1960. Mrs. Caudell was a homemaker, member of the Baldwin Baptist Church and attended The Torch Worship Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Frances H. Watts, Jean Hinson, brothers, A.C. Hinson, Jr., H. Oliver Hinson, and H. Hoover Hinson.

A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, she is survived by her husband of 54 years, Mack B. Caudell, Baldwin, GA; sons, Michael A. Caudell, Gainesville, GA; Mark B. Caudell, Boaz, AL; brother, George G. Hinson, Charlotte, NC; sisters, Lydia Hinson, Cerro Gordo, NC; Gayle H. Bullard, Goldsboro, NC; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.

A celebration of life service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 09, 2014 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Franklin officiating. Interment will follow in the Baldwin City Cemetery with Rev. Edward Hood officiating at the graveside.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all donations be made in memory of Marian H. Caudell to the Baldwin Baptist Church, 200 Shore Street, Baldwin, GA. 30511 or to Amedisys Hospice, 53 Rock Drive, Toccoa, GA. 30577.
