Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Betty Joyce Anthony Collins, age 78 of Commerce, Georgia who entered into rest Thursday, August 14, 2014. Mrs. Collins was born in Jackson County, Georgia, the daughter of the late George and Lois McIntyre Anthony, was a retired LPN and a member of Brockton Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter Deborah Herndon of Social Circle, Granddaughter and husband, Beverly and Gary Lance of Commerce, two Grandsons, David Murphy of Cleveland and Scotty Murphy of Pendergrass; Brother, George "Larry" Anthony of Loganville , two sisters, Barbara Krause of Adairsville and Judy Payne of Cumming. Great grandchildren, Zachary Lance, Michaela Lance, Breanna Murphy and Madison Murphy.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 17, 2014 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Jesse Mealor and Reverend Karl Mealor officiating with burial to follow in the Braselton Church of God of Prophesy Cemetery.
