Judy Kemp "Mama B" Pembroke, age 71 of Buford, GA died suddenly Saturday, August 23, 2014.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 4:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Wayne Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. Judy's request was to have no visitation.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Adam Blake Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund. Make checks payable to Hoops for Adam and submit to Peoples Bank and Trust, 1899 Buford Highway, Buford, GA 30518.

Judy was preceded in death by her Grandson, Adam Blake Smith and Parents, Leon and LaRue Shelton Kemp. She is survived by her Children, Jimmy Maddox and Jean Grieger, Buford, Jan Smith and Husband, Mike, Buford. Grandchildren, Michael "Cory" Smith and Wife, Deanna, Chandler Kemp Smith, Lauren Nicholle Maddox, Trent DeLayne Bagley and Wife Fran, Ryan and Hailey Grieger. Great Grandchildren, Paisley Ours, Britton Bagley, Mackinley Warren and Blakely Smith. Twin Brother, Jerry C. Kemp and Wife Dorothy, Buford.

Judy was born at Fort McPherson, GA and lived most of her life in Buford. She was a graduate of Buford High School Class of 1961, and was chosen as Miss Buford of 1961. She was a member of First Baptist Church Buford and was retired from DuPont. Judy had a special place in her heart for children and served many years in the office at Buford Elementary School. She loved her family and friends, especially her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She always strived to help them achieve the best in life.
