Edna Patricia Poole

Edna Patricia Poole, age 83 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 29, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Timberridge Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. Poole will lie in state at the church from 2:30 - 3:00 pm, prior to the service. Reverend Chris York, Reverend Alvin Burns and Reverend Anthony Cook will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 1 - 5 pm and 6 - 9 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Poole was born May 12, 1931 in Dahlonega, Georgia to the late Arthur E. Etris and Mae Chapman Etris. She was a homemaker and a member of Timberridge Baptist Church. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dewey Poole, her grandson, Tim Hudgins, her brothers, Raymond Etris and Ed Etris and her sisters & brothers-in-law, Alice & Richard Matthews and Vonceil & J.C. Anglin,
Mrs. Poole is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Lynn & Sammy Hudgins of Lula, son, Benjie Poole of Lula, sons & daughters-in-law, Steve & Liz Poole of Clermont and Jason & Stacey Poole of Lula, grandchildren, Josh & Whitney Hudgins, Bart & Niki Hudgins, Tyler Duff, Kaitlyn Poole, Thomas Poole, Matthew Canada and Mike & Violet Hudgins and great-grandchildren, Casey, Jessy, Billy, Hallie and Madalynn Hudgins, sister-in-law, Harriett Etris.
