Peggy Ann Edwards Kirk Holman

Peggy Ann Edwards Kirk Holman, age 61, of Dahlonega, GA passed away peacefully at her home on Monday September 1, 2014 following a long battle with Cancer.

Peggy was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. She was a member of The Fountain Church of God of Prophecy in Dahlonega.

She was the daughter of the late Dewey Edwards Jr. and Bonnie Lou Moss Edwards and was also preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Kirk.

Peggy is survived by her son, Brian Duke, Dahlonega, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Gary Head; brothers and sisters-in-law, Skippy and Susan Edwards, Timmy "Bull" and Pam Edwards; stepson, Thomas E. Ross; nieces and nephews, Jeremy and Josh Edwards, Candace Wells, Cadea Head, Zachary and Tanesha Edwards; great-nephews, Dalton and Dustin Wells, all of Dahlonega, GA. Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Peggy are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday September 3, 2014 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. "Bo" Robinson, Rev. Mike Owens, and Rev. Ken Anderson will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Tuesday September 2, 2014 from 1 PM until 9 PM and again on Wednesday September 3, 2014 until the time of the service.
