Donald Edward "Donnie" Bragg

Mr. Donald Edward "Donnie" Bragg, age 27 of 101 West Drive, Cartersville, Georgia passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014 in Cedartown, Georgia from injuries sustained in a parachuting accident.

A son of Prince E. Bragg and Virginia Vinson Pressley, he was born April 1, 1987 in Stephens County, Georgia. He was a graduate of Stephens County High School, attended Gainesville State College and graduated from Southern Poly Technic with honors with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was duly enrolled at Georgia Tech and Poly Technic in the ROTC officer training for the U.S. Air Force. He was honorably discharged from this program when it was discontinued. He was employed with Chuting Star. His life has been devoted to his new son, Felix Rowan Bragg and fiancé`, Brooke Danielle Teague. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Daniel Edward Bragg and by his grandfather, Harold Bragg.

Survivors include his father, Prince E. Bragg; mother and step-father, Virginia Vinson Pressley and Phil of Toccoa; step-father, Steve Key of Toccoa; fiancé`, Brooke Danielle Teague; brother, William Edward Bragg of Athens, Georgia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Key Wilbanks and Travis of Martin, Georgia, Amber and David Cody of Gainesville, Georgia, Phylicia Pressley and Emma Grace Pressley both of Lula, Georgia; grandparents, Larry and Sandra Vinson of Toccoa, Louise and Roy Kinsey of Gainesville, Georgia, Glenda Bragg of Toccoa and Ernest and Dorothy Key of Mt. Airy, Georgia; great-grandmother, Juanita Turpin of Toccoa; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be Tuesday, September 9, 9 O'clock AM at Henderson Falls Park with the Reverend Roger Elrod officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent for the son, Felix Rowan Bragg to South State Bank, 11 S. Big A Road, Toccoa, Georgia 30577.

The family will have a private inurnment at Stephens Memorial Gardens.
