Jeffrey Milfred McGhee

Jeffrey Milfred McGhee age 57 of Cleveland passed away Saturday September 6, 2014 at Emory University Hospital.

Mr. McGhee was born December 14, 1956 in Columbus, Ga to Janice Rayburn McGhee and the late Rev. Jerry M. McGhee.

Mr. McGhee was educated in public schools in Florida and graduated from Truett McConnell College. He was employed as a Graphic Artist and Designer and was well known for his love of landscaping. He attended Concord Baptist Church, Clermont, Ga.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Dixon McGhee, Cleveland; daughters and sons in law, Stephanie and Scott Key, Alto, Latasha and Chad Smith, Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Nathan Key and Christina Smith; mother, Janice R. McGhee, Cleveland; brother and sister in law, Jon M. and Patricia McGhee, Mt. Juliet, TN; nephew, Zackary McGhee, niece, Kassidy McGhee, Mt. Juliet, TN; brother in law and sister in law, Billy Wayne and Donna Dixon, Cleveland; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday September 7, 2014 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Levi Skipper and the Rev. Herb Chisenhall will officiate.

The family will receive friends 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
