Verona Hutzell

Verona Hutzell, age 82 of Gainesville. Our mother passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014, and is now in the good hands of the Lord.


Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Hutzell was born May 5, 1932 in Readlyn, Iowa to the late Ernest Shellhorn and Eldora Shellhorn. She resided at Bell-Minor Nursing Home. My sister and I wish to thank everyone at Bell-Minor Home for their kindness, love and support during her recent illness. She enjoyed everyone at Bell-Minor and made new friends there. Our mother enjoyed holidays, picnics and being with family and her friends. She will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Hutzell is survived by her two daughters, Jeri Daugherty of Gainesville and Peggy Rurup of Rockwell, Iowa, 6 grandchildren, Dennis, Heather, Scotty, Cory, Stacy and Eric. 1 great-grandchild, Rogan.
