James Edward Kytle

James Edward Kytle, 82, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Thursday September 11, 2014 following an extended illness.



Born on May 1, 1932, he was a lifelong resident of Hall County. He was the son of the late Calvin Kytle and Eula Goolsby Kytle. Mr. Kytle was a retired General poultry farmer and bus driver. Mr. Kytle served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church.



In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Iris Harrison Kytle.



He is survived by his sons and daughters in law, William "Bill" and Kay Kytle of Gainesville, Chris and Samantha Kytle of Lula; granddaughters, Jessie and Lacie Kytle of Gainesville; grandson and wife, Adam and April Kytle of Jefferson; grandson and wife, Trey and Heaven Kytle of Jefferson; granddaughter, Sydney Kytle of Lula; 6 great grandchildren, as well as brothers in law and sisters in law.



Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Timber Ridge Baptist Church. Rev. Alvin Burns will officiate. Mr. Kytle will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the service hour. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in Alta Vista Cemetery.
