Rita Warner Luther

Rita M. Luther, age 90 of Gainesville, Georgia passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Monday, September 22, 2014 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. Reverend Randall Popham will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, prior to the service.

Rita was born September 23, 1923 in Louisville, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Ed and Matilda (Snyder) Warner. Rita met her husband, the late Clifton E. Luther, at dance class, married, moved to California and started her family. They relocated to Andrews, NC in 1965 where she attended Holy Redeemer Church. She loved to play games, do crafts, garden and traveled extensively with her husband in their RV. She enjoyed the simple pleasure of sitting oh her porch looking at the magnificent views of the mountains, and reading a good book. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Wilbur, Floyd and Russel Warner; sisters, Dorothy Robinson, Irma Sharon, Luella Tuttle, Gladdys Javins and Bernice Meyer.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Wilson, granddaughter, Erica Barber and great-grandsons, Tyler and Ryan Barber.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, 2150 Limestone Parkway Gainesville, GA 30501.
