Mary Alice Bolthuis

Mary Alice Bolthuis, 73, of Alpharetta, GA died on September 17, 2014. Born in Fairfield, OH she was the daughter of the late William and Harriet Farinet.

Mary was a dedicated, Registered Nurse who cared for children at Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for over 25 years. Initially she was in Floor Nursing and later in Administration. She was also an active member of Parkway Presbyterian Church in Cumming.

She is survived by her husband, John Bolthuis of Alpharetta, GA; son, Kevin (Janet) Dunaway of Greenville, NC; daughter, Linda Dunaway of LaCrosse, WI; and seven much-loved grandchildren.

A Memorial Service, Celebration of Life, will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Parkway Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Bill Ford will officiate. The family will receive friends at a reception following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mary Bolthuis Memorial Fund (for new communion ware) at Parkway Presbyterian Church, 5830 Bethelview Road, Cumming, GA 30040.
