Gordon Knight Brown

Gordon Knight Brown, 85, surrounded by family, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 23, 2014.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Jean, daughter Cindy McGeorge, son Mike Brown, daughter and son-in-law Linda and Charles Yard, granddaughter Nicole Yard, granddaughter Becky and husband Jimmy Laing, and great grandson Jason Laing.

Gordon was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His love for his family and his incredible sense of humor will remain in his family's hearts forever. He loved his church, golfing, boating, and spending time in the mountains.

A celebration of his life will be held on October 4 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home, Cumming, at 11:00 with visitation prior to the service at 10:00.
