Mrs. Ilee J. Puckett, age 92, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Puckett; son, Larry Puckett; infant daughter, Joan Puckett; grandson, Cory Miller; and son-in-law, Ernest Bowman. She is survived by her children, Carol Puckett Bowman, Buford, GA, Janet Puckett, Suwanee, GA, Gail and Carl Frasier, Buford, GA, Frances and Gerald Meeks, Buford, GA, Lesha and Stephen Belle Isle, Lawrenceville, GA, and David Ray Puckett, Suwanee, GA; daughter-in-law, Mary Drake Puckett, Demorest, GA; sisters-in-law, Ruth Johnson, Lawrenceville, GA, and Sarah White Johnson, Dacula, GA; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Puckett was born February 23, 1922 in Lawrenceville, GA. She was the last surviving sibling of nine children of the late Marshall and Ruth Hall Johnson. She was a charter member of Shadowbrook Baptist Church in Suwanee, GA and was a member of the Suwanee Good Timers Senior Group. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Linkous officiating. Interment will follow at Peachtree Road Baptist Church Cemetery in Suwanee, GA. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
