Carrie Jane Allen Adair

Funeral services for Carrie Jane Allen Adair, age 75, of Lula, will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 16, 2014 Hillside Memorial Chapel. Rev. Don Samples will officiate with interment to follow the service in Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Adair died Tuesday, October 14, 2014 following an extended illness.

Born in Clarkesville on July 19, 1939, Mrs. Adair was the daughter of the late Oscar and Carrie Allen. Mrs. Adair was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling, animals and watching cooking shows. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adair is preceded in death by her husband Ray Adair.

Survivors include daughter and son in law Chere and Dan Gramman of Lawrenceville, daughter and son in law Rene and John Allan of Milledgeville; son and daughter in law Scott and Shirley Adair of Lula; sister and brother in law Glenner and Curtis Benfield of Hollywood, sister and brother in law Anne and Willard Burke of Clarkesville, sister Sandra Jones of Clarkesville; sister in law and brother in law Betty and Andrew Sutton of Batesville, sister in law and brother in law Martha and Richard Daley of Hollywood, sister in law Fran Adair of Hollywood; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the charity on one's choice.
