Rosie Lorene Martin

Rosie Lorene Martin, age 96, of Dawsonville, GA passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014.

Rosie was a resident of Lumpkin County for the past several years after moving from Alpharetta, GA. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She was the daughter of the late John and Essie Ramey Summers, and is also preceded in death by her daughters, Bertie Ree Little, Rita Ann Beck; stepson, Dorice Clayton, several sisters and brothers and four husbands.

Rosie is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Janet and George Jones, Dawsonville, GA, Wanda Thompson, Duluth, GA. 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives also survive.

Memorial service for Mrs. Martin is scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. J R Fields will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega from 1 PM until 2 PM on Saturday, October 25, 2014.
