René Samples

René Samples, 49, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday October 23, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born January 15, 1965, she was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County. Rene was preceded in death by her father, Lee Samples, and attended Crossroads Baptist Church.

Surviving are her mother, Louise Samples, Dawsonville; sisters and brothers in law, Linda and Douglas Bennett, Gainesville, Debbie and Ricky Holtzclaw, Dawsonville; brother and sister in law, Merle and Judy Samples, Dawsonville; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday October 25, 2014 at 11 o'clock at Crossroads Baptist Church with the remains placed in state at 10 a.m. Rev. Brody Hughes, Rev. Jason Hamby, Rev. Stephen Davis and Rev. Gerald Blackburn will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home.
