Mr. Karl Meth, age 75, of Buford, GA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, J. T. Buice. He is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Debbie Buice Meth, Buford, GA; stepchildren, Bradley and Amanda Puckett, Buford, GA, and Vanessa and Klint Ingle, Jefferson, GA; sons, Thorsten and Doris Meth, and Thomas and Krista Meth, all of Frankfurt, Germany; eight grandchildren, Gauge Puckett, Kayde Puckett, Nicole Hosch, Karson Ingle, Kollin Ingle, Rene Meth, Vanessa Meth, and Tobis Meth; sister, Gisela Walters, Zebulon, GA; mother-in-law, Betty Pugh Buice, Buford, GA; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Janet and Ed Martin, Tucker, GA, Gail and Harry Blankenship, Buford, GA, and Patti and Michael Waycaster, Buford, GA; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Meth was born June 13, 1939 in Tiefenort, Germany. He retired from the German Air Force after twenty-two years of service. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Engineering. He was a retired engineer and attended Shoal Creek Baptist Church, Buford, GA. He was widely known for his small engine and lawnmower repair. He enjoyed sailing on Lake Lanier and traveling. He was a member of the 9:00 group of the Buford Bojangles Breakfast Club. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Bennett and Rev. Ed Martin officiating. The body will be cremated following the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the memorial fund set up at Flanigan Funeral Home in memory of Karl Meth.
