Riley Wayne McGuire

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Riley Wayne McGuire, age 73
of Cleveland. Mr. McGuire passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Saturday, November 1, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Michael Clark, Rev. Philip Robinson and Rev. Spencer Anderson officiating.

Interment will follow in Tesnatee Baptist Church Cemetery. Wayne was born in White County on January 16, 1941 to the late Bill McGuire and Ocie Miller McGuire. He was a 1959 graduate of Cleveland High School and served our country with honor in the United States Army. Wayne was the owner of McGuire Trucking Co in Cleveland and a member of Tesnatee Baptist Church In addition to his parents, is preceded in death by his daughter, Sheree McGuire and brother, Royce McGuire.

Survivors include his wife, of 53 years, Linda Gooch McGuire, Cleveland, son, Steve McGuire,
Cleveland; daughter, Katina McIntyre (Shannon), Cleveland, sisters, Doris London (Bud),
Cleveland, Imogene Hunt (Voyce), Clermont, Joyce Dockery, Cleveland and Linda McGuire also
of Cleveland.; grandchildren, Annie Mae McGuire, Ben McGuire, Cara Ann McGuire, Dakota
McIntyre and Gracie McIntyre as well as a number of nieces, nephews and many wonderful
friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 8pm. Flowers will be acknowledged or memorial donations may be made to Tesnatee Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O.Box 1425, Cleveland, Georgia 30528.
