Frank 'Lloyd' Frankum, Jr

Mr. Frank "Lloyd" Frankum, Jr., age 77 of Cornelia, passed away on Tuesday Evening, October 28, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Batesville, Georgia. Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday Evening, October 31, 2014 from 5 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Frankum was born November 12, 1936 in Clarkesville, Georgia to the late Frank Lloyd Frankum, Sr. and Lucy Eller Frankum. He was a native of Clarkesville and a long-time member of Clarkesville Baptist Church. Mr. Frankum was a retired residential painter as well as a well- known artist who loved to paint pictures in his spare time. Lloyd was a loving father and was dedicated to his family.

Mr. Frankum is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Todd & Judy Frankum of Talmo, his daughter, Kristi Frankum of Cornelia, his brothers, Doug Frankum and James Frankum, both of Demorest and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
