Timothy Floyd Stringer

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Timothy Floyd "Hambone" Stringer, age 36 of Winder, formerly of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Friday, October 31, 2014. Mr. Stringer was born in Commerce, Georgia the son of the late Bobby Stringer and Tenna Hoopaugh Stringer of Winder. In addition to his father, Mr. Stringer is preceded by grandparents, John Floyd and Hattie Stringer. Survivors in addition to his mother include sisters, Bobbie Jo Grant and her husband David of Jacksboro, Tennessee, Virginia Weeks of Jefferson, daughter Sierra Stringer of Colorado, grandparents, John and Jennie Hoopaugh of Pendergrass, Uncle like a brother, Chris Hoopaugh of Atlanta, Uncle, Danny Hoopaugh and his wife Tammy of Athens, Aunt, Janis Mangum and her husband Jerry of Pendergrass, Uncles John T. Stringer of Jefferson and Bill Stringer of Liberty, South Carolina, four nieces and 2 nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Monday, November 3, 2014 from the Academy Baptist Church with Reverends Eric Shelton and David Grant officiating. The visitation will follow the Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to the Stringer Family, P. O. Box 234, Jefferson, Georgia 30549.
