Mrs. Irene Gray Johnson age 70 of Gainesville, GA passed November 1, 2014.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014, 11:00am at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 4006 Old Cornelia Hwy. Gainesville, GA. Mr. John Myatt, presiding.

Mrs. Irene Gray Johnson was born on October 12, 1944 in Elberton, Georgia to the late Mr.Charlie Gray and Mrs.Gussie Mae Blackwell. She was preceded in death by son Dalton Keith Johnson. She attended school in Elberton, Georgia. She was baptized and became a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in her later years of life. She worked for the Hoisery Mill for a number of years and later retired after 21 years of service at Fieldale Farms.

Irene leaves to cherish her memories a devoted husband of 42 years; Mr. Roy C. Johnson, daughters; Melendese (Raymond)Smith, Shelia David both of Gainesvile, GA, son; Rev. Dewitt(Cheryl) Johnson of Flowery Branch, GA, two brothers; Willie (W.C.)Blackwell of Tacoma, Washington and Charlie Gray, Jr. of Elberton, GA, two sisters-in-law; Della Ruth Hunter and Christine Good of Gainesville, GA., 13 grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
