Randy Williams

Mr. Randy Williams, age 60, of Talmo passed away on Tuesday, November 04, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 07, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Pondfork Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Johnny Knight will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 05, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursday, November 06, 2014 from 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams was born on November 13, 1953 in Matwan, West Virginia to the late Tom William and Vina Scott Varney. He was a member of Pondfork Baptist Church and worked at Smithville in the Maintenance Department. He was preceded in death by his father and son, Joey Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Williams of Talmo, son, Randy Williams Jr. of Canton, daughters, Elizabeth Starnes of Canton, Cheryl Samples of Vidalia and Candi Martin of Jefferson, son, Chad Samples of Maysville, mother, Vina Varney of Kentucky, numerous grandchildren and sister, Carol Cotterman of Kentucky.
