Nancy Gayle Ariail Humphries

Nancy Gayle Ariail Humphries, age 67, of Cornelia, departed this good earth to her heavenly home on November 5, 2014.
Gayle was born on May 13, 1947 in Stephens County, Georgia, to the late Loyd Broughton Ariail and Pearl Stephens Ariail. She retired as a 2nd grade teacher and media specialist having worked with Habersham and Hall County School Systems. Gayle was of the Baptist faith and was also an avid reader and gardener who enjoyed traveling.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Kay Ariail.
Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Charles D. Humphries, Jr. of Cornelia; children and spouses, Sandy Sullivan Ahearn (John) of Athens, as well as, Kirk Ariail Sullivan (Christy) of Cornelia; five grandchildren, Taylor Brandon Hale, Trenton Baxter Hale, Cameron Bryce Hale, Devon Austin Sullivan and Hunter Dawson Sullivan; brother, Loyd Edward Ariail; nephews and spouses, Edward Denton Ariail (Alice) and Loyd Samuel Ariail (Dulcie).
A private family service will be held at a later date.
