Stella Mae Wall Holbrook

Funeral services for Stella Mae Wall Holbrook, age 80 of Clarkesville will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Hills Crossing Baptist Church Cemetery and the family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, November 14, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.




Mrs. Holbrook passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 following a period of declining health.




Born Clarkesville, Georgia on May 22, 1934, Mrs. Holbrook was the daughter of the late Floyd and Stella Beard Wall. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Holbrook was a member of Hills Crossing Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents Mrs. Holbrook is preceded in death by son Tommy Holbrook, and siblings Louis Wall, Ruby Thurmond, and Catherine Powell, grandson Casey McCoy, and great grandsons Lil Shane Holbrook and Chade Holbrook.




Survivors include her husband Robert Byrd "Bobby" Holbrook of Clarkesville, son and daughter in law Sam and Margie Holbrook of Clarkesville, daughter Vickie Stewart of Clarkesville, grandsons Shane Holbrook and Chad Holbrook (Kecia) of Clarkesville, Josh McCoy (Chris) of Hoschton, and Caz Stewart of Alto, great grandchildren Justin, Briana, Jacob, Kinleigh, Jared, Landyn, and Briggs, and great-great grandchild Rory.
