Jane Rigdill Jackson

Jane Ridgdill Jackson, 79, of Gainesville, died Friday November 14, 2014 at her residence.

Mrs. Jackson was born September 27, 1935 in Oak Park, GA to the late Herman and Frankie Ridgdill.

Mrs. Jackson was a member of Corinth Baptist Church Gainesville, and had a lifelong devotion to mission work worldwide. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and was a member of the Jubalheirs Choir, she enjoyed music, and playing the piano. In addition to love of gardening she was an avid traveler.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Pat M. Jackson Sr.

She is survived by her daughters; Corby (Carl) Rice and Hope Jackson, sons; Pat (Andrea) Jackson Jr. and David (Betsy) Jackson. Grandchildren Michele (Brandon) Watts, Megan, Mallory, Ben, Alex and Charlotte Jackson, Jason and Dean Rice. Sisters; Janice Hamrick and Joy (Lowell) Bowen and brother, H.G. (Cornelia) Ridgdill. Sister-In-laws; Vonnie Jackson and Johnnie Black and brother-In-law; Sigmund Lukasiewiecz.

The family will receive friends Sunday November 16, from 3 -5 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral home. Funeral Services for Mrs. Jackson will be Monday November 17, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. H.G Ridgdill and Dr. Chris Swan officiating.

Interment will be at 3:30 p.m. at Pendleton Springs Church Cemetery in Oak Park, GA.
