Murdees Watson Bennett

Mrs. Murdees Watson Bennett, 89, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014.



Born on January 12, 1925, in Forsyth County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Nellie Watson. She had lived in Hall County most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church.



In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, J. Woodfin Bennett, daughters, Janice Philyaw, Judy Fields and granddaughter, Cindy Philyaw.



Mrs. Bennett is survived by her daughter and son in law, Kathy and John Walker of Ormand Beach, FL.; son in law, Bob Fields of Gainesville; grandchildren, Kelly Fields, Chad and Yvette Philyaw, Summer Renick, Brandi Renick-Smith; 4 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother and sister in law, Leland and Lena Watson, Gainesville and a number of nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Earl Pirkle will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from Noon until 2:00 p.m.



In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to Central Baptist Church General Fund, 785 Main Street, Gainesville, GA 30501.
