Ernest Lee Jenkins, Sr.

Ernest Lee Jenkins, Sr., age 63 of Dahlonega, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Jenkins was born on July 8, 1951 to the late Jimmy Lee and Zona Roselle Wood Jenkins. He was of the Baptist faith and had a free spirit. Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by two sons, David "Daybo" Rice and Shawn Rice.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Jenkins, Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Eddie Pressley, Dahlonega; son and fiancé, Ernest Lee Jenkins, Jr. and Tiffany Kelley, Dahlonega; daughters, Dana Jenkins, Dahlonega, and Kayla Flood, North Dakota, Natasha Sullens, Kimberly Johnson; sons, Derrick Johnson, Preston Johnson, Bryant Johnson; step children, Erin O'Brien, Shannon O'Brien, Renee O'Brien, Michael O'Brien; sisters and brother-in-laws, Elizabeth and David McFarland, Canton, Gail and Tim Harris, Dahlonega, Debbie Jones, Dahlonega, Lynn and Gene Dowdle, Dahlonega, Tammy and David Dowdle, Dahlonega; brother, Sam Jenkins, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Britney Totherow, James Totherow, Paige Pressley, Chloe Pressley, KayLee Jenkins, Christopher Jenkins, Tracey Willoughby, Chelsey Willoughby, Matthew Willoughby, Angelea Jenkins; great grandchild, Preslee Franklin; extended grandchildren, Skylan Pratt, Shaelan Pratt, Braydon O'Brien, Laylay O'Brien, and Lilliana Goldston.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Ray Strickland will officiate. Interment will follow at Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9AM-3PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
