Terry Ruth Adams

Terry Ruth Adams, 67, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday November 26, 2014 at Embracing Hospice.

Born January 15, 1947 in Murphy, North Carolina, she had lived in Dawson County for the past 23 years having moved from Cherokee County. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and very devoted mother, grandmother and was a big Elvis Presley fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hulon Adams; mother, Lillie Mae Robertson; sisters, Tammy Emory, Shena Licering; brother, Ronnie Coker; and loving companion, Gene Potts.

Surviving are her children, Laura and Troy England, Dawsonville, Dwayne Adams, Dawsonville, Rebekah and Steve Benefield, Ellijay, Randy and Jackie Adams, Dawsonville, Terrill Adams and Annie Neighbors, Ball Ground, Danny Adams, Dawsonville; sisters, Sue Samples, Cumming, Karen Miller, Canton, Linda Coker, Jasper; brother, Tommy Coker, Douglasville; 20 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Sunday November 30, 2014 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jason Hamby will officiate. Interment will follow in the McKees Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 4 until 9 and Saturday from 12 noon until 9 at the funeral home.
